Specifically disclosed is a semiconductor light-emitting device (10) comprising: a package (11) which contains at least a first insulating layer, a second insulating layer, conductive wires (14a, 14b) formed on the surface of the first insulating layer and an inner-layer wire arranged between the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer; a semiconductor light-emitting element (12) mounted on the first insulating layer of the package (11); and a sealing member (13) so formed on the package (11) as to cover the semiconductor light-emitting element (12).? The inner-layer wire is so formed as to avoid the region right below the peripheral region of the semiconductor light-emitting element (12).
