Job Description:
·CSBU Applications Engineer in ShenZhen
·Provides field with application roadmaps and new product expertise in ShenZhen
·Capable in generating reference designs by using Cypress products to demo the Cypress product technology/advantages
·Responsible for design in and design win activities
·Help customer design in Cypress product smoothly – includes design review, component selection , safety test , EMI/EMC
·Establishes and build relationships with key partners and customers
·Review product design requirements, perform technical reviews and presentations
·Timely provide the product definition with customer feedbacks
·Interfaces with the customer’s design personnel to present Cypress best value proposition, future product developments, and solve technical concerns
·Writes routine reports and follow up action items
·Write Application Notes and Other Collateral to benefit Customers
·Create and provide technical training to Sales, Distributors, IDHs, and Customers
Job Specific Requirements:
·The candidate must have strong back ground in technical support, self driven, and a background in switching power supply design
·They must understand how to build relationships with key technical contacts at customers and have the ability to manage multiple priorities
·Power management and/or LED system design experience
·Fluent in English (both written and oral)
·Ability to travel between China and Taiwan
·Chinese language skills, technical sales and/or marketing skills
·Preferred: semiconductor company experience
