About The Position
Autotalks is a V2X chipset market pioneer and leader, which helps reduce collisions on roadways and improve mobility with its automotive qualified chipsets. The company’s chipsets offer the most advanced, truly secure and highest performing global V2X communication solution designed for autonomous vehicles. Autotalks’ advanced technology, to be mass deployed in the coming years, complements the information coming from other sensors, specifically in non-line-of-sight scenarios, rough weather, or poor lighting conditions. It significantly improves overall road safety, effectively coordinating vehicles, self-driving cars, motorcyclists, and pedestrians.
Job description:
To support our customers in China, Autotalks is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE), with experience in embedded software. This position is the primary technical contact for customers in China. Roles and responsibilities include pre-sale and post-sale technical support on all aspects of Autotalks’ offering, working closely with Autotalks’ HQ support team. This position offers a unique opportunity to mold Autotalks’ China technical office.
Requirements
· Minimal language skills:
o Chinese: Native
o English: Written, Oral – Very good
· B.Sc. in computer science or EE
· 3+ years C\C++ programming experience; in embedded software environments
· Good understanding of RTOS design concepts
· Broad, system level understanding
· Highly independent, strong management and interpersonal skills
· Customer engagement, pre-sale and post-sale.
· Willingness to travel is required
Advantage:
· Linux (Kernel and User space development)
· 3GPP/Cellular and/or WiFi/802.11 MAC/PHY
· Networking
· Security and Cryptography
· Good understanding of CPU subsystem (CPU modes, exceptions, memory management, cache, etc.) and interfacing with peripheral hardware (drivers etc.)
· Experience in working with foreign Engineers
