Cypress is the global supplier of choice for innovative companies in high-growth markets. We are searching for a Design manager to lead and strengthen our design team in Shanghai, China. We are looking for an experienced design manager who has experience of leading teams to create digital IP blocks and SOC products. The preferred candidate will have a strong background in several areas of IC development. These areas are architecture, RTL digital design, and design back-end. The candidate will have experience of working with architectural specifications and developing digital IP blocks and also assembling full SOC products. This candidate needs strong debugging skills to design and create solutions for Cypress Automotive and Microcontroller product families. The candidate will work closely with marketing, architects, applications and software, product and test engineering. Required Skills 1. Experienced technical leader and group manager 2. Expertise in Verilog RTL digital design in high speed, mixed signal chips in deep submicron technology is required. Good understanding of low power, high performance SOC design, verification and timing is needed. 3. Good experience in using static timing tools, design for test tools, place and route and other backend tools is essential. 4. Experience in successful tape-out of deep submicron chips is required. 5. Great attitude, self-motivation, communication skills (spoken and written English and Mandarin) and excellent team work and leadership is a must.
