QCN9274 and QCN6224 are different, why is one a high match and the other a low match?

The QCN9274 and QCN6224 are two different types of chips. The differences between them are mainly in purpose, performance, and positioning, resulting in one being called high configuration and the other being called low configuration.

QCN9274:

Usage: Typically used in high-end devices such as flagship smartphones, tablets or high-performance laptops.
Performance: With powerful processing power and functions, it supports faster data transmission speed, more complex computing tasks and higher resolution image processing.

Support for the latest WiFi technology standards, such as 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) or improved versions of 802.11ax.
802.11ax technology provides higher speeds, lower latency, and better network capacity to support more devices connected to the same network at the same time without compromising performance.

QCN6224:

Usage: Typically used in mid-range or entry-level devices such as regular smartphones, tablets, or low-cost laptops.
Performance: Compared to the QCN9274, performance may be reduced, including data transfer speed, computing power, and image processing.
Positioning: Mainly targeted at price-sensitive markets, offering medium performance and features, but at a more affordable price.

When it comes to WiFi technology, both the QCN9274 and QCN6224 have a few different features and functions. Here is a more detailed introduction:

QCN9274:
802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) support:

The QCN9274 chip supports the latest WiFi standard, 802.11ax, also known as Wi-Fi 6. The standard introduces many new technologies and features, including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM, etc., to improve network performance, capacity, and efficiency.
Multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO):

MU-MIMO technology allows routers to communicate with multiple devices at the same time, rather than the traditional single-user sequence. This means that the QCN9274 can more efficiently handle data transfers between multiple devices, thereby improving the overall performance of the network.
OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency division Multiple Access):

OFDMA technology divides the spectrum into smaller subcarriers, allowing routers to transmit data to multiple devices at the same time, thus improving the efficiency and capacity of the network, especially in crowded network environments.
Faster speed and lower latency:

The 802.11ax standard provides higher data transfer rates and lower network latency, enabling the QCN9274 to provide users with faster and more responsive network connections.

QCN6224:
802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) or earlier supports:

The QCN6224 chip may support older WiFi standards, such as 802.11ac or earlier standards. The 802.11ac standard offered faster speeds and better performance when it was released, but it still fell short relative to 802.11ax.
Lower speed and performance:

Compared to 802.11ax, 802.11ac offers lower speed and performance. The QCN6224 chip may not provide the same high speed, low latency and better network capacity as the QCN9274.
Suitable for low-end devices:

So for the WiFi project, how to choose these two cpus

The choice of QCN9274 or QCN6224 depends on the project's requirements, budget and target market. Here are some considerations:

Performance requirements:

If a project requires a high performance WiFi connection for applications with high speed, latency and network capacity requirements, such as HD video streaming, online gaming or large device connections, then the QCN9274 may be a better fit as it supports the latest WiFi 6 technology to provide a faster and more stable connection.
