The SON movement offersproductivity enhancements derived from automations in wireless networkinfrastructures. Improving network productivity as a whole will reapsignificant benefits in terms of lower operational expenses (OPEX) for networkoperators. SONs will create a more organic wireless infrastructure fabriccapable of quickly growing and expanding its services to meet the fast-changingneeds of the moment, as well as the longer term growth requirements of thewireless industry.
