Position Summary:
As a key member in EPS Motor Design team, this role aims to develop EPS (Electronic Power Steering) BLDC motors and mechanical analysis, modeling and simulation for the automotive industry, mainly vehicle/OEM customers
Responsibilities:
Design EPS BLDC motor to meet customer specifications and requirements
Analyze and evaluate existing design, and conduct design optimization
Work with internal purchasing team on components and materials supplier selection
Prepare test plan, samples, and tooling; support test execution and evaluation
Support the benchmarking and technology scouting. Track state-of-art motor technology for EPS business and application. Provide technical support to customers and JE peers
Requirements:
Bachelor or above, major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering
5 years or above working experience in motor design and application in automotive field
In-depth knowledge on motor manufacturing, machining, tooling and fixtures, quality system
Skilled in CAD, SolidWorks, Catia, or UG
Good team player, self-motivated, good problem-solving skills
Able to work under high pressure
Good command of written, reading and spoken English
