Foreigners in North Korea can now use Twitter,Facebook,and other social media on their mobile
phones. A steady flow of tweets and Instagram pictures hae been observed since the mobile
service provider Koryolink launched its 3G network last week .
在朝鲜的外国人现在可以在手机上使用Twitter,Facebook,和其他的社交媒体了。上个星期，朝鲜的移动服
务提供商 Koryolink 开始运行3G网络服务后，网络上 tweet与Instagram 图片较为固定的数据流。
The move came just weeks after the North Korean government announced that it would let
foreigners bring their own mobile phones into the country. Until recently,foreigners were
required to leave the devices with customs officials after crossing the border.
这种动作是在几周前朝鲜宣布允许外国人在朝鲜国内携带手机，但在最近，外过人在过境时 被海关人员要

The changes represent rare reforms in what is considered the most closed country in the world
.Some observers say it could be a sign that North Korea's new leader ,Kim Jong Un,is open to
easing official restrictions.

Martyn Williams operates the North Korea tech bolg.he told VOA that the changed could create
a hole in the wall of censorship that keeps out almost all foreign information.

"Every time that new technology is adopted, especially in authoritarian countries, when you

Teh new mobile Internet service will only be available to the small number of foreigners in
North Korea.

Martyn Willians says the sevice could change the way foreign media reprot on North Korea.He
say having an Internet connection on a camera-equipped mobile phone means reporters can avoid
some of the official restrictions.

"It gives reporters the ability to take a picture and to send the picture immediately.And
then that means that once the picture is gone ,enven if someone comes up and syas you cam't
take that picture, you have to delete it. you can turn around and say 'I'm sorry ,but it's
already sent.' Or you can delete it,but you know that its already gone."
它可以让记者们有能力拍下照片并将立刻发送，然后照片就已经被发送出去了， 甚至一些人过来说“嗨

David Slatter works in Seoul as a writer for the website NKNes.org.he admits that reproters
may be able to publish some images without he approval of the North Korean govermment .But he
syas their effect may be limited.
