Position:Product Applications Engineer Work Location: Shanghai
Role
·
Provide technical applications engineering support directly tocustomers via telephone and internet. ·
Resolve customer technical problems utilizing digital design andanalysis skills. ·
Evaluate new software products and provide defect and enhancementinformation through product testing. ·
Document product change requests, workarounds and problemsolutions. ·
Utilize customer-case management and bug-tracking database tomaintain/retrieve customer case status, call activity, change request andsolutions. ·
Review and quality check technical and product documentation. ·
Visit key customers to support specific design problems orcompetitive situations. ·
Work closely with factory to solve field issues ·
Convert, optimize and improve select customer designs. ·
Design and develop application notes and application tutorials. ·
Generate and deliver training and technical information tocustomers and company field application engineers.
Requirements
·
3 to 5 years’ technical experience in FPGA logic design, bacheloror Master Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent is an essential. ·
Proficient in VHDL or Verilog. ·
In-depth knowledge Embedded Processing & RTOS, ARM projectexperience is preferred. ·
Strong interpersonal, telephone, written and group communicationskills and be fluent in English. ·
Familiar with application systems in one or more of thefollowing areas is preferred: Wireless communication, Wired communication,Audio/Video broadcast, etc. ·
Good analytical & problem solving skills are required alongwith self-motivation, and demonstrated successful team work. ·
Candidate with a service-oriented approach, a desire to solveproblems, and a concern to support customers in a dynamic and commercialengineering environment would be an ideal candidate。
